Miss Malaysia :/

Just because I have kept myself busy ever since I got home, I haven’t really had time to actually miss Malaysia but as I just uploaded the pictures I took on the trip, I realize that I am kind of bummed about being home. There was still so much that I didn’t have time to do, and now I have to wait another year until I’m back :(

And I still am aware of the fact that I haven’t uploaded any pictures from the trip (great blogger huh??) yet…buuuuut since my sister has, I’m going to do something dorky: link to her blog here and here.

Home

After another crazy Friday at Birger Jarl, I checked into Annie's bed & breakfast and didn't reach home until... just now. Tonight I'll just stay in and chill - this kitty needs to reeeeeest!

Yehoo!

Another yehoo!

I thought that I'd be working until the 12th of August but today I found out that I end one week earlier, on the 5th. This means that I will have more time for my girls before I leave!

Exciting news

Yehoo!!! Finally my letter from Shanghai has arrived. I've been anxious for weeks that it would get lost or arrive too late since it contains all the information, and documents, I need in order to actually apply for a visa and accomodation.

I think I'm going to open it in bed...with some strawberries, hihi ^^

BBQ party @ Annie's bed & breakfast ;)

Tiiiireeeeed

Gaud. My whole body is aching from today's 8 hours' workout a.k.a. my current job. Yesterday one of my friends told me though, that I should be happy to have a job to go to every morning, so I guess I have to suck it up although it really sucks having to work after six weeks of vacation...

Well, well. Before going to bed (yes you have to go to sleep at the same time as your grandpa when you have to get up at 7 a.m. -.-'), I'm going to drop a picture bomb from yesterday's BBQ party at Annie's...stay tuneeed ;)

Bedtime

It's time to go to bed already. First day of work tomorrow ^^

Sick

10 000 SEK worth of telephone cards...that's sick.

Limitless

Okay, for real now. Got. To. Stop. Shopping.

It's kind of hard though since there's big red SALE-signs all over town O.o...

Soon I'm only going to live on green tea and noodle soop in Shanghai

Fuuuck

Excuse my language but that's the only expression I have to describe the situation. Because of stupid colds that are going around (I'm actually also one of the victims -.-'), tonight's outing had to be cancelled :/ I don't get how I always get sick in the summer! It's so annoying -.-'

So tonight's plan is instead to stay in bed...sleeping (?) Wihooo. Great.

Going out tonight :D

After some sushi and shopping in town with mother and sis, I am finally home. Now I only have to run some errands and then waste time (if I’ll have time to) before I meet up with Annie and head to town for a night out. Gosh, I have missed clubbing so much! It’s crazyyyy O.o

Today's dress-for-success: top Zara, denim shorts H&M, flip flops Roxy, shades H&M

The top I bought today on sale :D Maybe I'll wear it tonight?

Busy day

Even though it’s my first day back in Sweden, I’ve been fully booked the whole day and now is the first time I actually sit down and relax. First, I went down to meet my sweetie-pies Annie & Lewar at my oh-so-missed spot: Bryggan, and after that it was straight to town for coffee and shopping with Maria. Hehe, every time I meet that girl I get reminded of the fact that Shanghai is getting closer and closer…I mean, now it’s only freaking one and a half month until I move there!!! :D

Home, sweet home

After a loooong and devastating flight back to Sweden (they took our kaya in Amsterdam, those bastards. I mean, like we’d actually bomb Sweden when we are Swedish citizens and live there -.-) I am finally home. Feels a bit weird still, but I’m getting used to it…by chilling and wasting time. One important thing that I have done though is checking my grades that were put up just a while ago --- and I freaking passed! I’m officially done and ready to release all of my ties to the IB Diploma Programme. This means that I can throw away all of my notes, wohoooooooooooo! Celebration is in the air :D

Maybe just not tonight. This kitty has to sleep >.<

Packing

Last day in Malaysia is soon about to end so it's time to pack the last stuff into suitcases :(

I barely have the energy to do anything though. Waking up 10 a.m. instead of 12 p.m. is a big differece when you go to bed at 4 in the morning every night...The only good thing about it is that you have time to do (and eat) more stuff. Today I've already eaten pai kut bung (pork ribs with rice), kuih, and 1½ roti canai...Diet back in Sweden for sure O.o

Steady ground

After a two days long insane roadtrip, I'm finally on some steady ground --- grandpa's house. So tired. Will have to write more about this another time. Now sleeeeeep >.<

Going home soon :/

In exactly one week I’ll be back in Sweden. Man, that feels weird. I can’t believe that I’ve already been here three weeks! Time really flies when you’re having a good time :(

Nevertheless, if I'm going to find some positiveness in going back though it must be meeting my girls, going out clubbing, and getting back on my normal diet so I’ll lose some weight. Oh, and the fast internet connection of course. I miss streaming Korean series, hehe :p

New haircut

Bloggie! Sandra is back…with a new haircut and everything :p

The last couple of days I’ve spent at my aunt Poh Suan’s house and since the internet connection/entire laptop there is crap, I just didn’t have enough patience to blog. Buuut, I had the patience to get my hair done. Initially I planned to only get rid of my split ends and then do a straight perm, but then the hairdresser (as usual) said that she needed to get rid of a little more of my hair due to breakage and dryness, so I now have shoulder length and bangs :o Oh, and the straightening is…straight, but I still think it could have been straighter. So in other words my best friend Mr. Pliers will still be my best friend from time to time, hehe.

CLEO

Hihi, I love being in Malasyia!

Besides from Cosmopolitan and Glamour (which they no longer have in Sweden---and abroad?), CLEO is my favorite magazine of all times. The not so favorable thing about it though is that I can only get hold of it in Malaysia…so I only get to read two editions a year L Nonetheless, I’m still happy that I have one of these editions in my hand :D

Speaking of birthdays...

My 20th birthday present is bought...in gold. Hehe :D

50th bday celebration

Yesterday my favorite uncle Kevin turned 50 years which was celebrated with a big birthday dinner in Port Klang. I can’t believe that he’s 50 already though. He doesn’t look like 50, nor does he act like he is (it’s meant in a good way of course, haha). Anyway, him turning 50 means that my mum will be there next year…A great number for a great woman. I think I need to sit down with sis and discuss October 21st 2012 soon, haha. ^^

Hahaha - Chinese group pictures...so ridiculous, yet so funny to look at xD

K.T.Z ice desserts

After a few hours of shopping in Klang, me, mum, and sis were going to end the night with some cake at Secret Recipe. Nevertheless, just when we sat down, a phone call from my cousin came, asking us if we wanted to go to Petaling Jaya to try the "famous ice desserts" that she had told us about the last time we met. And of course we couldn't say no to such a request since we (oké not mum) love desserts and ice-cream...

The Mango Loh @ K.T.Z...soooo good :)

Problem fixed!

I’ve come up with a solution to the picture problem! I just make the sizes of the pictures smaller and then, volià, I can blog again :D

Sooo, last Friday I told you that I attended my first Kurdish party/graduation reception that Shilan invited me and the girls to. Since I didn’t have time to post any pictures that night though, it’s now time to make up for that…

Gaaah!

The internet connection down here really really sucks. -.- Uploading one picture takes 30 min, so I wonder if I should take a small blog break, since posts without any pictures just will be dull...Buuut, if I find a faster connection or have something I really want to blog about, I'll be back. :p

Kusjes for now

One week later

Exactly one week ago I woke up 25% hangover, 10% covered in bruises, and 70% sick. The result of an awesome graduation. It’s a bit freaky that it already has been a week though. In 4 weeks I will be back in Sweden, start working, and then in August go to Shanghai for 5 months…All that is quite freaky too :s

But at the same time it feels good that life goes on and that you’re not stuck in the same old life that you’ve had during the high school years. I mean, the world is so big and life is meant to be lived, not just passed through, so we should all just enjoy everyday to the fullest :)

Like me & the girls did when we begun the graduation night with a limo ride…;)

Alive n' kickin'

Everytime I haven't blogged in a while and start again it feels so weird. You never know if your supposed to appologize to your readers or just go on like the small break never happened...Anyways, I can tell you that we arrived safely at KLIA (Malaysia's airport) on Sunday morning and that I think I've already gained 2 kg from all the different foods I've already eaten. Since we're just staying 4 weeks this time, compared to the usual 8 weeks, we have to do everything in express - which means that the weight-gain also is in express...-.-'

Sharing an internet stick with my online-game addicted cousin isn't the easiest thing when trying to keep a blog going. So, I'll blog as soon as I have time again. Ciao for now! :)

Here we go again

Now I'm off to Malaysia! :D

30 min left

Since I still have to wake up in 30 min, I don't really see the point in going to sleep, so instead I can tell you about today (or yesterday) when I went to my first Kurdish dinner event ever.

My baby Shilan was having her graduation reception and wanted us girls to come and celebrate it with her. It was awesome. Because not only did I get to see my girls one last time, I got to learn how to dance the Kurdish dance (although I sucked at it, haha) and eat some real shish kebab - which was sooooo good, hehe ^^

Since I don't have time to upload any photos of the night now, they'll have to come up another day. What I have time to say though is that I'm going to miss all of my babies so much. One month without them is kind of sad :'(

CRAZY graduation

Yesterday was wild but awesome. Because not only did I party like I've never done before (!!!), I managed to wake up with half a hangover, a terrible cold and an infinite number of bruises on my arms and legs...Nevertheless, I could so re-graduate every week. It was pretty awesome. :D
