Way to go ^^

I still haven't visited Facebook today.

I'm going to study some and then I will have one deserved hour of Facebooking. Proud. :)

The Secret

Yesterday my mama told me that when waking up tomorrow (this morning then) you are going to smile and think of how grateful you are for everything in your life. She said that I was supposed to imagine as if it was Tuesday and that Monday’s exams went fabulous, because in that way I would be surrounded by a lot of positive energy and thereby good things will automatically be drawn to me.

Yeah right, I thought. But since I always listen to my mother I still did it. And the thing is that I actually think it worked. :o

So people, don’t only follow your crazy ideas, follow others’ too! ^^

Facebook rehabilitation

When having lunch with my friend Lewar earlier this week we discussed our Facebook addictions and came to the conclusion that we maybe have to restrict ourselves from the website during mocks. Dramatic as Lewar likes to be, she suggested that we’ll change each other’s passwords so that it will be impossible for us to log in (to our own accounts that is, mohaha!). At first I thought that idea was pretty brilliant but then it hit me that mocks is going on for two weeks. Am I going to live without Facebook for two whole weeks!? Impossible. (Without me going a bit mad I mean.)

Sooo instead I told my other friend, Sabina, about this “dilemma” and she came up with the even crazier idea (after calling us dorks ^^) of only allowing ourselves to check Facebook 10 min per hour. Clearly that indicates that I am allowed to be on Facebook 4 hours a day…which is like…now so I think I have to ditch that suggestion as well. :o

BUT, smart as I am, I came up with my own idea of just allowing myself to be on Facebook 1 hour a day until Friday the 9th of March. In that way, I will fully focus on my studies and at the same time get a more…normal I guess…dose of that addictive website. ^^

Au revoir Facebook

Dim sum

Every month Vicki takes me & mami out for dinner and since salary came in yesterday, she said why not today? As mum always wants to go for Asian food we decided to try out the “new” Thai Village (by “new” I mean that they have changed owner) and boy it was good. It was the first time I’ve actually tried eating dim sum in Sweden and yuuuum. Made me miss Malaysia a bit though ;(

I've just defined 150 economic terms. Time for a break.

Dammit...it's Friday

This is the first Friday in a lifetime (?) that I don’t feel the “thank God it’s Friday!” feeling. My break is technically over already, and now I only have two more days of studying before mock exams begin, and I’m literally freaking out :s

The only soothing thing of today was drinking ice-latte at Barista with Vicki. A clear pause from reality is what we all need sometime…

End of the good life

Yup. That was it.

I Just woke up from my last night out…until after mock exams. Lately I have been out a bit too much and I just feel that it’s time to get serious again and regain that focus that I have managed to loose some of. Living the good life too much is never good.

Now I’m going to eat a semla with mami and then STUDY.

I'm a crybaby

I don’t get why I recently have got so emotional over everything. Last night I was watching 17 Again and I ended up as a crybaby…(I have to make use of the opportunity to watch as many movies I can now when I have break, haha.) The funny thing is that there weren’t even like big, big emotional scenes. I mean, it even ended well but I still couldn’t control myself. Gosh. Must be the hormones…:o

Oké, Zac Efron isn't always hot but in 17 Again...YUM

The Hangover

Good morning!

Last night I jumped into bed earlier so that I actually would be able to watch The Hangover without falling asleep. Not that that movie is easy to fall asleep to though, it’s just too hilarious…Haha! Although it was funny to watch how four dudes end up with a tiger in their hotel room, a baby in their closet and a cocky Chinese in the back of their trunk after their bachelor party in Vegas, I hope I’ll never have to wake up with a hangover like that.

Sushi

Today I went for a long sushi lunch with my chica Lewar. It was a really, really, really long time since it was only the two of us two doing something so it was great to just get together and talk about our messy realities. It wasn’t that bad to learn some useful Kurdish either, haha ^^

Göta Källare

Last night at Fried Rice’s event at Göta Källare in Stockholm was really fun but also very tiresome. Partly, I only have myself to blame for that since I barely slept anything between coming home from Friday’s night round, but it also has to do with the fact that we didn’t get home until around 8 a.m. this morning. Nevertheless, GK was awesome - and enormous compared to Ambassadeur where the last Fried Rice party was - and me, Vicki, and our bro Jay danced the whole night away. :)

To regain some of my energy I have therefore only sleeping, eating & organizing my history notes today. Right now I have the urge of watching The Hangover, that so many of my friends have recommended, but I have not yet seen, but I’m not sure if I should when I look at the time, hehe…Maybe I'll just read something until I fall asleep...

Done :D

Now I am finally ready with my CV! :D

Last night was spent for the final touch-ups and then Vicki helped me to get a nice layout. All there is left now is to send it to Lisa so that she’ll have it when she leaves for Belgium tonight. The plan is that both Lisa and I will try to get jobs down there over the summer, and since she is going down to her boyfriend over the break, she said that I could give her my CV so that she can give it out in Antwerpen. Awesome right!?

Shoot! I have to run. The girl is fetching me to school in 20 min and I’m far from ready to leave :o

Haircut

As I said, the change wouldn’t be dramatic at all, and that is exactly what it was. When you are saving your hair long for graduation, there is not that much to do besides cutting away split ends…unless you are up for getting hair extensions. Hopefully I will not have to go through that though. My hair will grow long until 1st of June. I hope.

10 o'clock

10 o'clock I have time at the hairdresser today. This time I will not do anything dramatic though. I'll just have them get rid of my split ends and improve my fringe that right now is quite...long. The result will come up later today :)

Kisses & Huggies to my lovely readers!

Steady & ready

With a tosca bun in my stomach, I am now ready for a night of intense CV writing. It's the first time I'm writing a CV so I don't really know where to begin, but since both my sister and my dear friend Lisa have given me samples of their own ones, I hope I will do alright.

I'll tell you where I am applying when I'm done with it, hehe.

Pink for Valentine's day

Today it's Valentine's day and in Katte (my school) love was in the air. There was music performances, decorations, and cute cupcakes everywhere. To add extra love to this "already lovely" atmosphere, students have been encouraged to wear either pink or red today...something that wasn't really a trouble for me at all. My wardrobe is literally pink. Hihi ^^

Study-buddies

Hum hum, now this weekend is over.

Yesterday Bianca, Lisa & I went home to Shilan for a study weekend, and boy did we study hard. Oké I’m not going to lie and say that we studied all the time, but if you consider all the things that we did beside reading the History of Europe and the Middle East, we made everything kind of historical. When we ate, we discussed how we were going to plan our studying. When we watched a movie, we watched a historical movie on the Cuban Missile Crisis. When we chilled, we reminded ourselves that we should go back to studying…In other words, studying history this weekend wasn’t all that bad. It was rather enjoying :D

B.day dinner @ Koh Phangan

I didn’t have time to post anything yesterday since I had a movie night with the family, but before I am off to Shilan’s crib for a study weekend, I might as well put up some pictures from last night’s dinner at the Thai restaurant Koh Phangan.

Once again it was a birthday child involved, and this time it was no other than my Chinese friend Annie who turned 19...

Chocolate Fudge Brownie

The grocery store opposite to my bus stop is celebrating its 40th birthday by selling Ben & Jerry's ice-cream for SEK 30 (normally it's like SEK 50). Everyone in my school has got all loca over this, and although it's like -4 °C, you can still see people walk around with a bucket of Ben & Jerry's outside! :o

And since it's Thursday, and not one of the best days I've had, I thought: why not drain my sorrows with a bucket of Chocolate Fudge Brownie?

Yesterday's...

This is what happens when I go out with mami...^^

Going street

I like to experiment with styles. One day I can wear a hoddie and sweatpants, and the next I'll come in a blazer and skinny jeans. This week I feel the street style - and I kind of like it, haha. I also liked my friends' reactions:

Lewar: Oooeeei Kitty! Going for streeeeet...finally we have made you cross over ;p
Bianca: Daaaamn girl! You got some ass in those baggy jeans! Maybe I should start wearing baggies! XD
Lisa: Wtf!? Kitty, what happened? This is so not you. This is me! Like it though :)

New rules

Tonight I am going off to bed early. At latest 12.30. And the laptop is not joining me. If I cannot sleep, I am only allowed to read a boring book. Music is forbidden, because then I'll sing along instead of sleeping.

I didn't come up with these rules. My precious friend Sabina did. Buhu, don't like that girl right now.

Although I love her most of the remaining time

Watch Remember Me

Couldn't. Stop. Crying.

Movies with the word "remember" in them are not for girls like me. Oké, this one didn't keep me crying for 24 hrs like A Walk To Remember, but still! My eyes get teared up whenever I think about the ending...;( I'm not going to tell you what happened, since I'd only spoil the movie, but I am going to tell you that you have to watch it (although you're super-emotional over these kind of movies, like myself).

Buhu...now I have to man up & get ready for school.

Damn that movie has got eye-candy...Funny that I only kept thinking of Robert as a secret vampire though ;p

Remember Me

A movie night with sis is next. Remember Me it is. Have a great night readers! :)

Sunday studying

Another study session is booked for today, but this time it’s with Shilan & Bianca. I’m getting quite good at being efficient during the weekends again. ^^

Better & better

The day seems to just get better and better for me.

It started with me waking up after a weird night out with my chicas. Then I had Saturday brunch with my family before I logged into Facebook to come across great news…After that, I went over to my friend Sabina where we studied and just chilled until I realized that I had a pile of homework waiting for me at home. On the way back home though, I received a phone call from Vicki saying that she wanted to take me & mami out for dinner…so dinner in town it was.

After that I really thought that I was just going home to study some and watch a movie or something, but when I checked my Facebook, Sabina had written on my wall that I was in Kenzas blog!!! Oké, it’s not one of the best pictures of me, but still! How awesome isn’t that!? XD

A happy Bianca & me - August 2010

Happy :D

I just convinced Sabina to join me & Bianca for a wild night out. Happy! :D

Almost forgot

Whenever I leave my blog “unfed” for a day or more I start feeling conscious. I don’t really know if that’s a good or a bad sign, but that’s just how it is. ^^

Anyway, today it’s Chinese New Year’s Eve. To be honest I had almost forgot the date (yes, that‘s how Swedish I am, haha) , until all of my Chinese friends reminded me on Facebook. Thank God for technology, huh? Haha ;p
