Dinner at Koh Phangan

Yesterday it was sushi at East City with the volunteers I’ve been working together with at Minnas kvällscafé this spring, and today it was the early birthday celebration of my dear friend Sabina at the new Thai restaurant, Koh Phangan. Usually, I don’t eat out like this two days in a row, but what is there to complain about when the food is yummi and the company is lovely? In other words, a great way to spend an evening in. ;D

Here are some (or a lot of) pictures from tonight at Koh Phangan.

Arriving too early made Lewar snap a picture of Shilan and me in the park outside the restaurant.

But then we went inside and saw that the reputation holds true, the interior design is aswesome.

Our main thought was to surprise the B-day girl, and happily - we succeeded!

A part from the menu…I chose the Gai Met Mamoang which was rice, chicken and cashews. It was really good actually.

Lewar had Kao Pat Gai

And the rest of the ladies ordered the duck dish, Ped Pat Krapow.

Then (after like two hours) it was time for desert. As in Kanomcake.

Banana Pancake

And Husets sorbéer

Overall, I thought the food was really good, and so was the service, and the interior design. However, the prices weren’t too ”student-friendly”, but I would still advice people to give it a go as it is definitely worth a visit if you’re into cool places.
